Adam H. McCabe

Adam H. McCabe concentrates his practice in the areas of insurance coverage, cargo damage, marine casualty, personal injury, and property damage defense, as well as limitation of liability, pollution liability, and appellate matters in state and federal courts and arbitration throughout the Midwest and nationally. Adam’s insurance coverage work focuses on advising domestic and international insurers under marine open cargo, protection & indemnity, commercial general liability, and pollution liability policies as well as mutual insurance companies throughout the Midwest under first-party property insurance, providing litigation support and analysis, authoring complex coverage opinions, and counseling underwriting and claims representatives on policy form development and Department of Insurance compliance. Adam’s litigation of personal injury, property damage, and cargo loss and damage cases includes defending the interests of insurance companies, shipping companies, marinas, passenger tour boat companies, marine towing companies, shipbuilders, and inland motor carriers, transportation brokers, and freight forwarders, among other corporate clients. Adam’s extensive experience includes seven years working for a large international insurance company before moving into private practice.
