Matthew focuses his defense litigation practice on representing clients in matters involving general liability, New York Labor Law, premises liability, motor vehicle liability and insurance coverage. His representative experience also includes handling commercial litigation, real estate, property damage and contract disputes. Matthew handles client’s cases from inception and provides counsel through all phases of litigation, with great emphasis on risk transfer. He has taken and defended hundreds of depositions and makes frequent court appearances in the boroughs of New York City and the surrounding counties. Matthew additionally serves as monitoring counsel for insurance carriers for excess insurance policies with significant exposure. His representative clients include a variety of business and property owners, construction managers and general contractors and their subcontractors, and municipalities in New York state court.
